Partner/ Director/ Senior Manager - Transfer Pricing, Bangalore/ Chennai

Position: Partner/ Director/Senior Manager - Transfer Pricing.

Location: Bangalore/ Chennai.

Industry: Big4/ Management Consulting Firms.



1.     Qualified CA/AACA/ACA/CPA with 8-15 years plus post qualification in transfer pricing experience (major) with a BIG4 is MANDATORY.

2.     Preferred Candidates with Offshore (GSS/ GTH/ GDC/ SDC, etc) TP experience.

 Tax – Transfer Pricing

In the recent years, national fiscal authorities worldwide have been increasing their focus on transfer pricing matters to protect their tax base. This has translated into increasing challenges for multinational corporations who are looking for advice on their Transfer Pricing matters as well as assistance in responding to tax authorities.

The Transfer Pricing practice of the Firm works with its clients to help them develop and implement Transfer Pricing policies that are consistent with applicable tax laws and regulations. We provide a range of services including Transfer Pricing Advisory and Benchmarking, Transfer Pricing Compliances, Global Transfer Pricing Documentation, Litigation Support, Value Chain Management, and services related to Dispute Resolution viz. Advance Pricing Agreements (APA) and Mutual Agreement Procedure (MAP).


 Chartered Accountant (preferably).  Other qualifications such as Company Secretary, Cost Accountant, LLB, MBA could also be considered.

10+ years or above of work experience in international tax advisory, tax litigation and/or transfer pricing etc. 

Basic to intermediate knowledge of Transfer Pricing law and regulations and related recent developments

Excellent technical knowledge of Corporate International Tax and/ or M&A Tax and / or Tax Litigation

Strong people management skills

Possess excellent communication skills with an ability to interact with all levels across the organization   



Monitor work, manage, motivate and guide to deliver work of high quality

Develop appropriate client relationships and identify further client opportunities

Ability to understand the client’s business, microeconomic and macroeconomic issues around the same

Keep up-to-date on tax jurisprudence, international developments on Transfer Pricing, etc.

Performance management of team, work allocation and identification of training and development needs

Take a significant role in sharing knowledge and supporting the development of team members

To ensure that the risk and other policies are being adhered to  



Good Communication/ Interpersonal skills

Demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment

Must have worked on international tax, tax litigation and / or transfer pricing matters for clients in several industries
