Director IT Audit & assurance, Bangalore.


Roles and responsibilities:
We are currently seeking an experienced IT Audit & assurance (ITA&A) professional at a Director level within Risk
Consulting practice for leading our ITA&A services and to join us in our clients Bangalore office. The expectations
from the role of a Director would be –

The ITA&A lead director will work closely with Global IT advisory leader to drive the ITA&A business for a shared
service centre. He / She will be responsible for global delivery and operations of ITA&A services by working
closely with key stakeholders/ member firms globally as well as key client partners to grow the delivery of ITA&A

He / She will champion technical expertise and provide robust advice to drive value and best-in-class delivery for
client in technology risk compliance with the relevant standards / risk / regulation guidelines

 To contribute to client service teams as a high level technical expert to strengthen design and delivery of
solution. To lead key client relationships.
 To keep up to date with global, national and regional developments in their vertical/industry/function and
shares this knowledge with others across the entity
 To lead the identification, development and management of talent across ITA&A services
 To utilize exceptional understanding of own technical area to grow adoption within the firm and incubate
new services/offerings to support the firm’s strategy
 Lead and manage diverse delivery teams with proven extensive knowledge and success with multiple client
engagements involving information protection services such as SOX 404 integrated audits, IT Attestation
(SSAE16/ ISAE3402), ISO27001 services, audit analytics, GRC tools, vendor risk assessments, and emerging
technology risk services for global client needs
 Take ownership and accountability for quality and on-time delivery of engagement(s)
 Balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues
 Build and develop relationships with key stakeholders across the member firms, engagement teams and
client contacts
 Developing compelling services and solutions to technology-risk related issues faced in diverse industries
 Participating in practice leadership, taking action to continuously extend and improve our services
 Contribute and participate in firm related strategic growth initiatives and innovation agenda
 Creating a positive environment by monitoring workloads of the team while meeting client expectations and
respecting the work-life quality of team members;
 Ability to manage a diverse skilled team and develop people through effectively supervising, coaching, and
mentoring all levels of staff
 Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for all levels of staff
 Contribute to people initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training Technology Risk professionals
 Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal and team skills
 Understand, follow and communicate workplace policies and procedures to all levels of staff

Skills required:
 A strategic thinker with a confidence and ability to shape forward thinking agenda and significant leadership
experience in Big 4 professional services or dynamic & Leading IT consulting organization with strong
executive presence
 Strong and consistent track record of relationship building, services development and delivery, specifically in
North America and Europe markets
 Strong business acumen, must be able to navigate complex organization, work in a multidimensional matrix
and ability to lead a globally distributed multi-cultural team
 Adopt and live the firm values with highest level of integrity and professional standards
 Subject matter expert and depth in ITA&A services and a strong performance track record of growing ITA&A
services through establishing, managing and delivering superior client experience
 Demonstrating a detailed understanding of current and emerging legal, regulatory, governance, and IT
security standards that affect the clients
 Ability to identify and assess complex IT threats, risks and controls, to relate them to the wider business
environment and to express opinions clearly
 A trusted advisor that assist clients with improving assurance landscape
 A good understanding of IT data centre operations and a variety of technology platforms.
 A good understanding of risk and issues that would be encountered by our clients during major IT projects.
 Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
 Ability to develop excellent client and internal relationships. Ability to deliver work within tight timescales, to
budget and to a high quality.
 Above all strong people management skills.

Education / professional qualifications
 Bachelor’s degree (BBM / BSc / BBA / MCA / BCom / BE) from an accredited college/university and / or
Master’s degree in IT/ Business Administration
Prior Experience:
15+ years of experience in IT audit and assurance services with key role in developing and delivery services with
proven experience of successfully managing and delivering ITA&A advisory services around external/internal
audits) to medium to large, multi-national clients in global virtual delivery platform. Including, for example,
experience in: auditing and advising clients that operate major ERP systems (eg SAP and Oracle); performing
project assurance roles in major IT programmes; reviewing IT aspects of mergers and acquisition activity.
