Roles and responsibilities:

We are looking for someone to lead our offshore marketing operations team, the responsibilities of this role include:

 

Service Level:

  • Support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of our operating model for ONSHORE marketing
  • Lead the marketing operations framework by laying down processes, systems, measures that contribute to an overall effective operational framework
  • Arrive at key marketing insights and drive end to end campaigns and marketing delivery
  • Working in conjunction with the Head of Marketing Operations, oversee programme budgets including collaboration with ONSHORE finance on monthly reporting, forecasting
  • Working with Operations to ensure team adherence with ONSHORE procurement, risk and data rules
  • Lead the delivery of our marketing effectiveness reporting including revenue attribution and KPI development on a monthly basis
  • Plan resource requirements and oversee the management of both ONSHORE and India team members’ work allocation
  • Responsible for local leadership of the ONSHORE Marketing team in India including to ensure the development of our culture, working relationship with ONSHORE team and ensure line management requirements are delivered through our matrix structure
  • Responsible for driving operational effectiveness in the ONSHORE Marketing team including continuous improvement of processes and defining and working to set SLAs
  • Acting as an ambassador as to the capabilities of the Marketing function to internal clients and stakeholders
  • Working in conjunction with the Head of Marketing Operations, oversee programme budgets including collaboration with ONSHORE finance on monthly reporting, forecasting
  • Working with Operations to ensure team adherence with ONSHORE procurement, risk and data rules
  • Identify the need for and engage with specialist colleagues and agencies in the campaign development process including the organisation.
  • Work with the Marketing Effectiveness team to ensure that ROI is effectively measured and lessons learned are shared with Marketing BPs and relevant marketing colleagues
  • Be comfortable with running multiple projects at once, collaborating with Marketing Business Partners, our CoE and offshore team and the business to ensure strong delivery with creative impact within timeframes and agreed budgets

Quality Assurance

  • Work closely with the Managers and Assistant Managers to ensure consistency and quality of support provided to onshore Marketing and Campaign teams, devise quality procedures, standards and specifications
  • Ensure that our risk controls and compliance requirements are embedded within our marketing processes across campaign delivery.

People:

  • Help the team increase service opportunities leading to better management and development of the support
  • Drive relationships with key stakeholders and maintain high degree of rapport with onshore teams
  • Be involved in mentoring and coaching of junior colleagues
  • Drive collaboration across the Marketing teams
  • Actively support embedding a high performance, business focussed and collaborative culture across Campaign Delivery and help to ensure relationships are effective with Programme Management and Business Partners

 

Education / professional qualifications:

  • BA university degree or equivalent
  • Professional marketing qualification (CIM) preferred

 

Prior Experience:

15+ years of Business experience in a similar role for a large multinational company (Experience in a professional services firm would be an advantage). Experience in B2B marketing will be an advantage

Required skills:

  • Excellent understanding of new marketing approaches, tactics and campaigns. Able to propose new ideas with a compelling and commercial rationale to seek business and marketing colleague support to apply this to campaigns.
  • Excellent handle on Global & International marketing operations
  • Solid understanding and knowledge of effective project and resource management including budget management.
  • Good creative skills including copy editing and writing, visual/image selection and innovative ideas around the role of marketing channels and digital.
