Manager - Integrity/ Enhanced Due diligence (IDD/ EDD), Gurgaon


Designation: Manager - Integrity/ Enhanced Due diligence (IDD/ EDD)

Location: Gurgaon

In this team, the responsibilities will include contributing to IDD’s strategic objectives, provide thought leadership by researching trends and implementing industry best practices to take IDD up the value chain.

  • Leading small to mid-sized projects related to one or more work streams
  • Taking ownership for the engagement from planning through completion phases - initiating action, anticipating requirements and facilitating discussions.
  • Continuously engage with stakeholders and Operations team to understand their needs and define policy procedures, or systems accordingly
  • Exploring feasibility and implementation of innovative approaches to bring process improvement in the existing or new engagements
  • Analyze and improve organizational processes, and work to improve quality, productivity and efficiency
  • Support business development activities on strategic and global priority accounts
  • Imparting relevant trainings to juniors and peer level colleagues
  • Becoming SME on the respective service offering/product including complex deliverables
  • Build a high performing and motivated team by investing in skill development through focused learnings
  • Ability to manage work and people efficiently and accurately under pressure of conflicting situations
  • Building up rapport with the clients (onshore teams) through various modes of communication
  • Combining the above skills to deliver time-critical and relevant submissions to clients
  • The candidate should expect to work on a variety of project-based work involving assessing gaps against regulatory requirements and leading industry practices; assessing money laundering/Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) risks; evaluating political exposure and related risks; studying litigations and analyzing the impact of judgments on the client along with creating management reporting and metrics, among other things

Mandatory Skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to handle client interactions and build positive client relationships
  • Ability to lead large teams with frequent scaling up and down requirements
  • Proven ability to collaborate in a virtual, multi-cultural, multi- geography environment
  • Experience in undertaking corporate intelligence work and/or familiarity with key research tools and databases, including corporate registries in key jurisdictions, Factiva, Lexis Nexis and I2
  • Experience in dealing with the management of moderate risk exposure, delivering quality, efficient and profitable outcomes by diligent completion of own work, supervising the work of the engagement team and monitoring the overall engagement
  • Proactive solution building approach
  • Display project management skills to deliver high quality work on time and to budget
  • Expert in drafting reports, submissions and other deliverables in English to a high standard, suitable for presentation to senior stakeholders and/or clients
  • Ability to articulate complex and technical findings in a clear, well-structured manner
  • Deal discretely with sensitive, confidential information and be able to interact well with other practices, clients and colleagues at all levels


Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
  • Must have •   8+ years of experience in project/ program management, operational excellence, and change management
  • Resource scheduling skills
